Maureen discovered KUMA after six years in the spa industry, ready to build a life centered around wellness. She feels lucky to be here and share her love of martial arts with the community. Maureen first entered a martial arts gym (Choi Institute, Portland) in 2016, not knowing it was the beginning of a new passion and lifestyle. Her training is rooted in kickboxing and boxing, and she remains committed to improving each day. In her spare time she cares for five kitties, loves real estate, the beach, and learning home renovations.
